For this university assignment, we were asked to develop a complete concept for a social awareness campaign. I chose to focus on a topic that feels both personal and universally relevant — the consequences of suppressing emotions and not speaking openly about one’s feelings.
My campaign explores how staying silent about what we experience internally can intensify emotional pain rather than protect us from it. Many people avoid expressing their feelings out of fear, shame, or the belief that they should handle everything on their own. However, unspoken emotions often accumulate over time, leading to isolation, misunderstandings, and deeper psychological distress.
Through this project, I wanted to highlight the importance of vulnerability, open communication, and emotional honesty. The campaign encourages people to break the silence, seek support, and recognize that expressing feelings is not a sign of weakness, but of strength. By addressing this issue visually and conceptually, my goal was to create a message that resonates, sparks reflection, and opens space for meaningful conversations about mental health and emotional well-being.
